A big thank you to all who donated to the Foster Care Drive our Medford Branch held back in April. Together they collected an assortment of personal hygiene items, backpacks, basic clothing, and monetary donations to support the Taylor County Foster Care Program. Your support helps us build stronger youth and families in your community!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I’m excited to share that in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness/Child Abuse and Neglect Awareness month the Taylor County SART (Sexual Assault Awareness Team) has arranged an education session for all community members and professionals!

The event is set for April 28th at NTC (or virtually if you prefer). We’re very fortunate to have a guest speaker from a survivor’s group, In**st Aware, who will be presenting on statistics, prevention, and support for survivors. Additionally, the team is hosting a panel where we will be discussing how to talk with your kids about staying safe, the process if something does occur, and of course resources. There are two sessions, at 1p and 6p. I’ve attached the flyer for easy registration and for more info on topics covered.
