🚒 COMMUNITY BENEFIT & CELEBRATION OF LIFE 🚒
In Honor & Support of Dominic “Dom” Richmond
Join us this Saturday, September 19th at the Mecosta VFW as our community rallies together to honor the life, service, and memory of local firefighter Dominic “Dom” Richmond.
Dom dedicated his life to protecting and helping others through his service with both the Morton Township Fire Department and the Chippewa Lake–Martiny Township Fire Department. Now, it’s our turn to stand behind his family and support them during this difficult time.
All proceeds and donations throughout the day will go directly toward helping with Dom’s final expenses.
📋 Schedule of Events:
🍝 Spaghetti Dinner — Starts at 2:00 PM
Enjoy a hearty plate of homemade spaghetti with all the fixings. Meal provided by freewill donation.
🎯 Co****le Tournament — Bags Fly at 3:00 PM
Grab a partner and jump into the tournament for some friendly competition, fun, and community camaraderie!
🎁 Silent Auction — Running Throughout the Afternoon
Bid on an array of wonderful items, gift baskets, and community donations. (If you’d like to donate an item or basket to the silent auction, please reach out to the Post or drop it off ahead of time!)
📍 Location: Mecosta VFW Post (1050 W Main St, Mecosta, MI)
❤️ Proceeds: 100% of donations and proceeds go to the Richmond family for final expenses.
👥 Who: Open to the entire public — everyone is welcome!
Whether you come to eat, throw bags, bid on auction items, or just share memories and support his loved ones and fellow firefighters, your presence makes a difference.
