⛳️🏌️‍♂️We are 2 weeks away from our 2nd Annual Fall Classic, and we couldn’t be more excited for a day playing at Hunting Hawk Golf Club. The September 18th tournament is filling up, and we are still looking for more teams and hole sponsors this week.

👏Over the next week or two, we will be honoring our Tournament and Hole Sponsors, but today we want to thank Bojangles and Tands Inc. for being our Ball Sponsor! Mark your calendars: Friday, September 25th is our 8th annual Giving Day! This past summer we sent over 260 students to camp and hope to send even more this year. We have a goal to raise $25,000 with a $15,000 matching gift to aid in reducing camp costs. Will you help us get students to camp and keep our ministry strong as we enter our new fiscal year? 🏌️‍♂️⛳️We just completed the best summer of camping in Hanover County Young Life’s history! Our first annual golf tournament helped make that happen. Our final trip highlight of the summer: our high school friends took on a week in the Adirondack’s at Saranac Village! A week without phones — full of laughter, significant conversations, seeing the Lord’s goodness and our friends taking steps in their faith — it doesn’t get any sweeter than this😎🌊🏄🏽‍♂️⛵️🪂🪩🕺🏽

Any time 2 busses worth of middle school students show up somewhere, it’s sure to be a wyld time🤪 Our biggest Wyldlife trip to date and yes, the leaders are actual super heroes!!! Summer camp at Rockbridge is just the best🍪🧗‍♂️🌊🐟🌄🕺🏽🪩

If you didn’t know, our Hanover County YL Capernaum Capernaum leaders are actual miracle workers!!!! This summer our Capernaum team planned and ran they’re own special summer camp for close to 50 of their high school friends and their buddies at Massanutten🌄🕺🏽🏊‍♂️🤪🏎️💦🍭🎤 From go karts to dunk tanks, club talks and pies in the face, they did it all — they’re our hero’s!!!!

We couldn’t close out the summer without sharing about our 16 Atlee graduates that spent six days on the trail summiting Sun Peak and Pearkes in British Columbia, Canada! This trip really stretched these students physically, mentally, and spiritually in all the best ways.

“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the best thing I’ve ever done. After completing this, I know that I can do anything!”

This group of 20 took planes, vans, and ferries across the country to one of the most beautiful places on earth— what a gift! We can’t wait to see what God has in store for these young adults’ next chapters!✈️⛴️🚙🥾🌄🧗‍♂️
