Our first house work day of the year is officially in the books!

A huge thank you to First Saints Community Church for serving as our sponsor group and spending the day helping a local homeowner in need. Volunteers replaced a door, repaired a bathroom floor, completed yard work, and added a new porch railing to help make the home safer and more comfortable.

We are so grateful for community partners like them who continue to make a difference, one home at a time.

A recent contribution through the Home Builders Care Foundation, Inc. is benefiting residents in St. Mary’s County.

Since 2000, HBCF has funded home repair programs across the Maryland Building Industry Association jurisdictions, assisting seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

Jim Schaefer, CEO of Schaefer Homes, has joined the HBCF board and is proud to be part of this work, beginning with a contribution to Christmas in April St. Mary's County, Inc. in Leonardtown and supporting local homeowners in need.
