SPECIAL BEGINNINGS! Our kindergarten students were sorted into their houses this morning! After learning their houses, practicing chants with their 5th grade Heads of House and having a dance party, they went on a parade around our school to be cheered on by all of our Dolphins. What a special morning! Thank you to Mrs. Bove and Mrs. Snellings for organizing this awesome event! 8 Houses, 1 Family!

LAST CALL FOR T-SHIRT ORDERS! Ordering for class t-shirts closes at the end of the day today. We encourage all students to have a shirt in their class color (whether purchasing or swapping in the neighborhood) to support safety and class cohesion on field trips. Shirts cost $12 and can be purchased by sending cash (exact change only) or check to school, or via credit card on the OSP website: https://osp.osmsinc.com/HanoverVA/

PRACTICING BUS EXPECTATIONS! All classes boarded a parked school bus today to practice how to be safe, respectful, and responsible on the bus to and from school. Our students are mastering the Dolphin Way! 🐬

CLASS VISITS! Last week, Principal Pike began making her way around the school to visit each classroom and spend some time with our students! During her visits, she is talking with students about the Dolphin Way, sharing a book, and/or leading a fun activity together.

Her classroom visits will continue this week. Be sure to ask your child about Principal Pike’s visit and what they learned about being a Cool Spring Dolphin! 💙💛🐬

WELCOMING NEW STUDENTS! Our Heads of Houses joined Principal Pike and our counselors in welcoming new students and families yesterday. These students leaders did a great job leading building tours! We hoped it helped our newest Dolphins feel more comfortable and ready for next week. 💙🐬
