The Mechanicsville Public Library will be open1-5pm M-F, 9am-1pm Sat during May. Closed 5/18&19 due to staffing shortage and 5/25 for Memorial Day.

The library will be reducing its open hours as we transition with limited staffing. Starting Friday we will be open from 1pm to 5pm (Monday through Friday), and Saturday 9-1.

We are excited to announce that that library has passed the rigorous state accreditation process!
Every three years we submit extensive data to the state for accreditation. We submit a total of every item checked out, the number of people who walk through our door, every dollar spent, all of our programs, all of our continuing education course, and more.
