PASR serves the needs of ALL persons who retired from the public schools of Pennsylvania. PASR is an association comprised of members who are all retired employees of the public schools of Pennsylvania. We are former teachers, administrators, counselors, nurses, secretaries, aides, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, maintenance staff—in short, anyone who is now receiving a pension from the Pennsylvan

ia School Employees Retirement System (PSERS). PASR’s mission is To serve others in need and help one another enjoy retirement. PASR was established in 1937 and is a pioneer of nonprofit voluntary membership organizations nationally—having helped establish both the National Retired Teachers’ Association in 1947 and the nation’s largest senior organization, AARP, in 1958. Most are found throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; however, chapters are located throughout the country.

🌽🥕 There’s just something magical about strolling through a farmers market—sunshine on your face, fresh air, and the smell of baked goods calling your name! 😍

Here are a few reasons to make it your new favorite weekend tradition:
✅ Fresh produce – We’re talking just-picked fruits & veggies that actually taste like something. Fresher food = more nutrients and better flavor. Once you try them, grocery store tomatoes just won’t cut it 🍅
✅ Support local heroes – Every purchase helps hardworking local farmers, bakers, and makers. You’re literally investing in your own community 💛
✅ Cool, unique finds – Handmade soaps, fresh honey, homemade jams, artisan bread… aka all the things you didn’t know you needed (but totally do now) 🐝🍯

Plus… let’s be honest… it’s basically socially acceptable to be snacking your way through breakfast AND lunch 😄
Who’s hitting up a farmers market this weekend? Drop your favorites below! 👇
