Pennsylvania Library Association's Academy of Leadership Studies The PaLA Academy of Leadership Studies is a cooperative initiative between PaLA and the Office of Commonwealth Libraries to offer leadership development.

PALS is the brain child of one of PaLA's esteemed leaders, Mary Garm. Hoping to encourage new librarians to become involved in PaLA, Mary recognized that if we help them develop as leaders, they would naturally lead within our organization.
