***BASKETBALL UPDATE***

Beginning this season (2025-26), Mechanic Falls Basketball will combine with Poland Parks and Recreation Department for registration and teams.

Why it matters: After 12 years of playing in the Oxford Hills Basketball League, Mechanic Falls will now play in the Windham League. Games will be played on the road and at home.

Logistics: Games will move to Saturdays with practices on the weekdays at both Street School and Community School. This will not impact PreK-2nd grade. They will stay on Saturday mornings.

Be on the lookout for registration information coming out next week!

The Track Club is back for the summer and open to all hometowns.

This is a welcoming, fun, and competitive summer track and field program designed for youth athletes of all skill levels. We’d love your help spreading the word by sharing the attached flyer through your school’s athletic or rec department email list.

Key details:

Open to boys and girls ages 5-14

All hometowns welcome – no school affiliation required

Season runs from April 28, 2025 to mid August!

Practices held at Poland Regional High School track facility on Monday & Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 pm with meets on Thursdays.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to learn more. We appreciate your support in helping local athletes stay active and continue growing this summer!
