ALERT: due to the threat of inclement weather the Franklin County public Library will close at 2:30pm.

The library will be closed tomorrow, Thursday May 7th for staff development. The library will reopen on Friday 9:00am until 1pm.

The Franklin County library hosted the first day of interviews for the veterans history project yesterday. We think each and every veteran and interviewer for taking the time to come speak and record these important stories. We have added a second day of interviews for July 13th if any veteran would like to participate please reach out to us at the library and we will be happy to put you on the schedule. All service members all branches are welcome. We would love to have your story. And thank you for your service. ❤️

Ages 0 to 5 will enjoy our next America 250 Come Read With Us! selection, "Patriotic ABC's: Where is the American Flag?" by Elle Hime. This colorful and engaging children's book celebrates patriotism. It's a great read and because the reader can find the hidden American flag on each page, it also doubles as a fun game.
