At the heart of Creek Connections is a collaboration between Allegheny College and schools in western Pennsylvania and New York for the purpose of encouraging natural science education through hands-on field and laboratory experiences. Creek Connections has forged an effective partnership between Allegheny College and regional K-12 schools to turn waterways in Northwest Pennsylvania, Southwest New

York, and the Pittsburgh area into outdoor environmental laboratories. Emphasizing a hands-on, inquiry based investigation of local waterways, this project annually involves over 40 different secondary schools and the classes of 50 teachers

Join us on May 30th from 1-3PM for a Conservation Connection Festival paired with the Pennsylvania Invasive Replace-ive program. You do not need to be registered for the program to attend. This family friendly educational event is an opportunity to learn from your favorite conservationist organizations and make new connections!
