Participants are still welcome to use the Flex Room during regularly scheduled class times for self-guided exercise.

Mead Community Day is finally here! Come join us at Mead Town Park for local vendors, exciting activities, delicious food trucks, and live music! The d'Lovelies take the stage at 5 p.m. followed by national touring artist Colby Acuff at 8 p.m.! The night will end with an epic fireworks display. Grab your family, bring your friends, and come celebrate with the Mead community!

Today’s the day - Community Day kicks off at 4 p.m.! 🎉

Join us for tons of fun, over 50 vendor booths, live music, free activities, delicious food trucks, a beverage garden, and fireworks to close out the night. Parking is available at the Community Center and in the Main Street lot adjacent to it.

FUN FACT FRIDAY 🎉 Several years ago, Mead combined its Community Day and Homecoming parades to create one bigger, better celebration of community and school spirit!

Today, the Mead Community Homecoming Parade is a partnership between the Town and Mead High School Student Council, bringing students, local organizations, businesses, and the community together to celebrate community and Homecoming.

The parade rolls through Mead on Friday, Oct. 2, at 4:30 p.m.

As Community Day approaches, please note the following:

🛑 Road Closures around Town Park:
– Martin Ave from 3rd Street to Main Street
– Main Street from Palmer Ave to Martin Ave
– Fairbairn Ave in front of the Community Center (local home access only)

🌳 Ames Park will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 12, for event setup and fireworks preparation.
🏢 Community Center will be closed on Saturday, September 12, in preparation for the event.
🚗 Parking for the event is available at the Community Center and the adjacent Main Street lot.

A few hours behind the wheel can make a big difference for a neighbor.

60 Plus Ride is looking for volunteer drivers to help Mead residents age 60 and older get to medical appointments, grocery stores, social activities, and other important destinations.

Volunteer drivers help older adults maintain their independence while staying active and connected to the community.

Drivers must have:
• A valid driver’s license
• A good driving record
• Proof of liability insurance
• A clean background check

September is Su***de Awareness and Prevention Month. 💜

On August 31, the Board of Trustees issued a proclamation recognizing the importance of raising awareness, reducing stigma, and connecting people with support.

Su***de can affect people of all ages and backgrounds. Local organizations including North Range Behavioral Health, Su***de Education and Support Services (SESS), and Imagine Zero of Weld County provide education, resources, and support throughout our community.

Sometimes, simply helping someone feel seen, heard, and supported can make a meaningful difference.
