Mead Learning Options kicked off graduation week with a fantastic ceremony at Whitworth's Cowles Auditorium FOR IT'S BIGGEST GRADUATION CLASS EVER FOR THE PROGRAM! What a night for this group future leaders!

Congratulations to the graduates! We can't wait to see what's next!

Mead High School and Mt. Spokane High School student-athletes took home some of the Spokane Sports's biggest awards at the annual Youth Sports Awards banquet on Tuesday night!

From Mt. Spokane HS, Brycen Phillips was named the Specialized Athlete of the Year, Addison Jay (softball) was named the Metro Girls Athlete of the Year and Carl Adams (softball) earned the Metro Coach of the Year honors! From Mead HS, Simon Rosselli completed the district Metro Athlete of the Year sweep being named the Metro Boys Athlete of the Year, while MHS Cross Country earned Metro Boys Team of the Year!

Kenzy Beerbohm went from being a disheartened, frustrated student to teaching art lessons to K-2 students and becoming certified as a nursing assistant.

Congrats to Mead High School boys track and field on winning the state team title! Down six point headed into the final event, the MHS 4x400 placed second in the event to clinch the team state championship!

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave everything for our country.
