Calling All Local Businesses! ✨🎄
Lights from the Heartland at Lakeside Park is getting ready to light up the holiday season, and we’d love for local businesses to be part of the magic! ❤️

We’re inviting businesses to participate in our Lights from the Heartland Business Challenge — a fun opportunity to showcase your creativity, get involved in this community celebration, and add a little festive competition to the holiday season! 🎅🎄

Businesses can decorate a 20' x 20' space at Lakeside Park and create a display that brings your holiday spirit to life. It’s a great way to promote your business, connect with the community, and help make Lights from the Heartland even more spectacular!

🎁 Not interested in decorating a space?
We’re also looking for businesses willing to donate to the Business Challenge prize pool. Your support will help us recognize and celebrate the businesses who participate in the challenge—and it’s another wonderful way to be part of this special community event.

Exciting work the last week on the pollinator garden — behind Fire Station No. 1 on Kansas Ave. We are so excited to take a small piece of unused land and turn it into something that can benefit our community and some winged visitors. The walking path is now more defined as planting area retaining walls are installed, and the sprinkler system is up and running. .

🤗Exciting things are taking root inside the McPherson pollinator garden. Wetlands Irrigation has started installing the new water feature. Our eventual buzzing, fluttering, winged visitors are going to love it. 🐝💦🦋
This is going to be such a great way to make the garden come alive. We can’t wait!
