McMinnville, situated in the heart of the Yamhill Valley, represents the best of Oregon. No doubt you’ll fall for our spirited wines, exceptional dining, and lush setting. There’s plenty of recreation and after all that play, relax with a restful night’s sleep. Our agricultural roots still grow strong today. You can find the freshest, quality produce and locally-grown products at the Farmer’s Market, local stores, and restaurants. Verdant vineyards, golden wheat fields, and other crops envelop our charming town and surrounding areas. If you want to make your stay here permanent, you’re not alone. The population more than doubled in the last two decades, currently at 34,930 – and still flourishes. McMinnville maintains its small-town friendliness and appeal with all the convenience and amenities of the city. Located 50 miles from Pacific Ocean beaches, 35 miles from the metropolis of Portland, and 25 miles from the state capitol, Salem, McMinnville is convenient to wherever you need to go. And the Cascade Mountains are a scenic 2-3 hour drive – making a weekend getaway attainable. McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed many new members in the past year. The strength of our membership (average 400-500 members) is due to the cohesive, supportive group of business leaders who enrich the economic health of the area. Today’s Chamber Greeters networking event took us to HelloCare, where we had the opportunity to learn more about the wonderful work they’re doing right here in our community.

HelloCare is making an everlasting impact on the communities they serve and the lives they touch, providing compassionate, nurse-led caregivers who help older Oregonians live safely, independently, and to their fullest life — right at home. 🏡❤️

A big thank you to Willamette Valley Medical Center for hosting our Business After Hours and welcoming Chamber members into their space!

We had an amazing evening getting to know the surgical teams specializing in bariatrics, orthopedics, and general surgery and hearing directly from the experts about the care available right here in our community.

The best part? Members left with more than new connections—they left better informed about their own healthcare options, the services available locally, and how to access the right care when they need it.

Construction continues on schedule at the site of the new Bi-Mart shopping store, which is located on Highway 99W at the south end of McMinnville. Site formerly featured the Wisteria Motel. Also included on the lot will be the International Kings Table, a restaurant.
