Reminder that work begins today at the Rocket Park boat ramp and water access will be closed today to July 6th!

Big things are happening at Rocket Park! 🛶🎣

In partnership with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and funded through a generous grant from the TDTD Industry, the City of McMinnville is launching a major upgrade to the Rocket Park water access area.

To ensure the safety of our crews and the public during construction, the Rocket Park water access area will be CLOSED from June 4 through July 6, 2026. The playground area itself will remain open to the public throughout construction.

What’s coming:

🏗️ A brand-new 70' x 20' concrete boat ramp

🚗 Fresh gravel across the entire drive loop

🅿️ Creation of 5 dedicated parking spaces

Please plan ahead and use alternative launch sites during this time. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve our city's public spaces!

We know summer just started, but Fall Soccer will be here before we know it! The Fall 2026 Youth Soccer season kicks off on August 29th and registrations open June 8th. Registrations will run June 8th to July 19th and is $70 per play (2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. child will be $65).
