🏛️ City Office Closure: Martin Luther King Jr. Day

In observance of 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝘆, City of McMinnville offices will be 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟵. 🤝✨

While our administrative offices are closed to honor Dr. King’s legacy of service and community, our commitment to providing 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 and 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 essential services continues.
Please note the following adjustment to the sanitation schedule:

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟵: Garbage routes will not run. 🚛
𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬: Monday’s garbage route will be collected on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆. 🗓️✅

We appreciate your cooperation as we allow our employees to observe this federal holiday. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, January 20.

🚒 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗦: A big thank you to Nissan for donating a 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 to our Fire Department! This vehicle will provide invaluable hands-on training for life-saving extrication and safety drills.
🏛️ 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦: Administration and Police leadership met with architects this week to refine the design for the 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

🔥 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬: Installation has begun on the 𝗛𝗔𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺. This new tech sends safety alerts directly to nearby drivers' dashboards. Our pilot engine already alerted 𝟵𝟲𝟱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 this past fall!

📈 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗠 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗠: Our new digital campaigns are working! Website traffic jumped from 400 to 𝟳,𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 this week, putting McMinnville on the map globally.

🛠️ 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞:
𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀: Patched potholes and upgraded the Transfer Station.
𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝗰: New sound system installed at Milner; Youth Basketball & Winter Tennis start Saturday!
𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿: Repaired leaks on Indian Mound and progressed on the Water Plant basement.

𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸: Planning commission meetings, employee wellness sessions, and continued infrastructure repairs.
