We provide services through our four main departments: Food Bank, Client Services, Energy Services, and Youth Services.

💜 September is Recovery Awareness Month! 💜

Throughout September, we’re coming together to spread hope, healing, and awareness around recovery in Yamhill County.

Local restaurants are joining the effort by offering zero-proof beverage options, sharing local recovery resources, and helping encourage positive, stigma-free conversations about recovery. 💜

The first round of donated market animal meat has arrived at the Food Bank! We are squealing with joy over this hog haul from the generous donors at the Yamhill County Youth Livestock Auction. 🐖💟🐖

Neighbors helping neighbors in Yamhill County! 💚 The Yamhill Food Project is a simple way for neighbors to collect food for local food pantries every other month.

How to get involved:
- Become a volunteer Neighborhood Coordinator (the time commitment is small, but the impact is big!)
- Invite your neighbors, family, friends, employees, clubs, etc. to become food donors.
- Over two months, food donors fill a reusable bag with nonperishable foods.
- Every other month, the Neighborhood Coordinators collect the filled bags from their food donors and deliver them to the collection site. 🥫🥫🥫

Another un-BERRY-lievable donation from Guerrero Farms - thank you for the 555 pounds of blueberries and stawberries! The summer harvest season is a continuous reminder of how many amazing local farms we have in Yamhill County, and we're so appreciative of their continuous generosity to the Food Bank! 🫐🍓🫐

Have you “herd” the good news?! This year at the Yamhill County Youth Livestock Auction, a total of 33 animals were donated to the YCAP Food Bank! For the first time ever, we were able to accept lamb and goat donations alongside the ever popular hog donations! This addition was only made possible due to our amazing community partnership with the Yamhill County Livestock Auction. Not only did they help with all the donation logistics, they also generously provided transportation for the donated market animals.

The livestock auction is always a great experience and a heartwarming combination of supporting the youth in our community and all of their hard work, while simultaneously providing quality meat from the donated market animals to help feed families in Yamhill County. We're so thankful for the continued support and partnership with the Yamhill County Youth Livestock Auction, Carlton Farms, the grant from Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians to cover all processing fees, the many local donors who purchased the hogs, lambs, and goats, and now Anderson Ranches for the processing of the lambs and goats! Thank you to everyone for making this possible!🐑🐖🐐

Precision Analytical Inc. generously donated $10,000 to YCAP for the purchase of supplies for our Street-to-Home & hygiene kits! YCAP had the opportunity to visit the Precision Analytical Inc. office and work with 125 of their amazing employees to build the kits. Together, 100 Street-to-Home kits and 200 hygiene kits were assembled. Thank you Precision Analytical Inc. for this outpour of support that will help those who need it most in our community! ❤
