We’re excited to welcome the department’s new brush 4 truck — built to help protect our community and respond quickly during fires and emergencies in tough terrain.

Thank you to the dedicated firefighters who work hard to keep McLoud safe every day. We appreciate your commitment, courage, and service to our community!

Sorry to sound like a broken record but here we are again. So to keep this short and sweet, we’re under a burn ban, we’re under a red flag warning today and Friday, so don’t burn or do any activities that could start a fire. And as always, stay safe.

Our area is again under a red flag warning today. So please do not burn as the humidity is going to get very low and the wind is going to be gusting up to 45 mph. Fires will grow quickly and be very difficult to extinguish in these conditions. Stay safe.
