All medication in the clinic MUST be pick up by an adult with the exception of self-care diabetics and students who carry emergency medications.

Emergency and daily medications need to be picked up by 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 21st. Over the counter medications need to be picked up by NOON on Thursday, May 21st.

All medication not picked up by 4:00 PM on the last day of school will be immediately disposed of.

Distribution and signing is scheduled for Monday, May 18th during school. Any remaining copies will be available for purchase during this time for $50 cash or check made to Dowell MS.

Our 7th grade STEAM students took their curiosity out of the classroom and into the Perot Museum of Nature and Science today! It wasn't just a field trip; it was a deep dive into the wonders of our world and beyond. From the towering dinosaur skeletons in the Life Then and Now hall to the high-tech challenges in the Texas Instruments Engineering and Innovation lab, our future scientists, artists, and engineers saw firsthand how STEAM shapes everything around us. Learning in action ⚡️

The 6th and 8th grade STEAM Club field trip to Encore Wire in McKinney gave students a firsthand look at how innovation, precision, and teamwork power an essential industry. From touring the facilities and seeing the manufacturing process throughout various stages, to even engaging in a little friendly physical competition, it was an experience they won’t forget.

Big thanks to the Encore Wire team for showing our students what the future can look like! Proud of our Dowell Lions for a great day! 🦁
