Habitat for Humanity - Collin County Habitat Collin County brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. In 2018 we merged with South Collin County.

Habitat Collin County was incorporated in 1992 in McKinney, Texas, as McKinney Habitat for Humanity, Inc. Our name was changed in 2002 to North Collin County Habitat for Humanity to reflect our expanding service area. Our affiliate serves the communities of McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Melissa, Allen, Celina, Princeton, Prosper, Farmersville, Wylie, and Anna. Through partnerships with local government

entities, churches, corporations, individuals and service organizations, we have been able to complete 220 houses for deserving families since 1992. We also operate a 2 ReStores that sell new and used building materials to the public and takes donations of these materials for a tax-deductible receipt. at the McKinney Habitat ReStore!

We've had some really great donations over the past week or two... lots of great couches and chairs, dining sets, and the usual DIY items like tools, doors, shingles, screens, mowers, and vacuums. Also come in and check out the ovens and even a little fireplace. And did we mention the great prices? We've got discounts throughout the store.. 25%, 50% and more off.

What a fun (and very early) gathering at Amazon in McKinney this morning. Our CEO Stephannie Krunglevich and Director of Philantropy Meegan R. Honeyman attended a North Texas Giving Day hosted by WFAA,Communities Foundation of Texas, and Amazon this morning.

What a fantastic day of service! 💙🏡

Yesterday, volunteers from The Home Depot Foundation rolled up their sleeves and worked alongside our dedicated crew chiefs Dave, Mike, and Hal at the Lewis family home on Garcia Street in McKinney. Together, they caulked and painted the carport, back porch, and siding, helping bring this project closer to the finish line. 🫶🏠

Special thanks to Home Depot Foundation for their generous donation that provided drywall and other essential supplies that will help us complete the home's interior. With their support, we're on track to wrap up the project, and welcome the Lewis family home, by the end of September!
