McKenzie Parks & Recreation is currently accepting applications to fill a full-time position. Successful candidate must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and pass the pre-employment drug screen. The City of McKenzie offers excellent benefits.
Job includes mowing, w**d eating, landscaping & equipment maintenance and working special events. Experience in field maintenance a plus. Must be willing to work holidays and week-ends when required. Applications can be picked up at the City Hall Monday – Thursday between the hours of 7:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Deadline for applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on September 24, 2026.

⚽ RIBBON CUTTING: Mulberry Park Soccer Complex

McKenzie, come celebrate with us! We are officially opening the new Soccer Complex at Mulberry Park, and we want the whole community there.

McKenzie Youth Soccer League games will be played before and after, so come early and stay late to cheer on our players. The ribbon cutting is at noon, right between games.

"Thank you to our City Council for backing the vision," said Mayor Ryan Griffin, "to our Parks and Recreation team for the countless hours that went into making this a reality, to the Street Department, First Baptist Church, and everyone who pitched in along the way."
