McKeesport Area Pre-K Counts

McKeesport Area Pre-K Counts MASD Pre-K Counts is for three and four year-olds. A child must be three by September 1st to be eligible for the program. Apply online!

MASD's Pre-K Counts classes are Monday through Friday from 7:45AM - 2:00PM located in Founders' Hall Middle School.

Pre-K Counts visited their future kindergarten schools and met their future kindergarten teachers. They were in awe of the new settings and loved everything about the new schools. A highlight was riding the bus like the big kids. It was a great adventure, and they are very ready to start this next chapter!

Our future Kindergarteners love meeting the teachers they will see next year, and the excitement in the room says it all. Thank you, Mrs. DeMarco, for sharing a wonderful story and helping make the transition to Kindergarten something our students look forward to!

The Mountain Watershed Association teamed up with Pre-K to offer environmental lessons through their educational outreach! Ms. Lindsey read a book about owls and then showed the students photos, skulls, and calls of the owls. The students love the hands-on lessons and getting to see all her “cool” stuff!
