Chris Deluzio does not represent parents in PA17. He voted against the Protect Kids Act. We deserve a representative who works for ALL of PA17, not only the radical minority.

"The U.S. House passed a bill Wednesday that would require parental consent before a public elementary or middle school can update a student’s pronouns, gender markers or preferred name on records in order to receive federal funding.

The measure — which succeeded 217-198 — would also bar federal funding under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 that provides federal aid to schools from being used “to teach or advance concepts related to gender ideology. The bill would also require schools to get permission from parents before changing “sex-based accommodations” to allow a student to access a locker room or bathroom consistent with their gender identity.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said two people who were in the U.S. illegally and a restaurant employee were taken into custody Monday after a traffic stop turned into a brief pursuit in Allegheny County...

The statement said the driver entered the parking lot of Central Diner and exited the vehicle with three other people. The individuals were said to have entered the diner in an attempt to evade police. "

Community members are encouraged to attend the township’s municipal meeting on June 11th to make sure their voices are heard.

"Weinstein said any housing development would not encroach upon Fairhaven Park as it exists now, with baseball fields, playgrounds, and other sports facilities. But there are questions as to whether this can happen.

The original deed from 1951 states the property is to be used for township park purposes and that any future sale would have to be approved by Allegheny County and school district officials."
