The Sto-Rox School District's Summer Food Program is back!

Beginning Monday, June 8, free breakfast and lunch will be available Monday through Friday for all children ages 18 and under who reside in Stowe Township or McKees Rocks.

Meals will be served at Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School. Breakfast will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

There is no cost to participate, and no registration or district enrollment is required.

Tomorrow is the last day of school for students in grades K-11!

As we wrap up another successful school year, we want to thank our students, families, and staff for their hard work, dedication, and support. We encourage all students to finish strong and be present for the final day. Attendance matters every day, including the last one.

LAST CALL: Tomorrow, Monday, June 1, is the application deadline for the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School Credit Recovery Program.

Need to recover credits needed toward graduation? Complete the form and return it tomorrow to enroll in this four-week program offering both flexible online and structured in-person learning.

Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School’s Credit Recovery Program offers eligible students a four-week hybrid learning opportunity from June 8 through July 2 to recover credits needed for graduation.

On Friday evening, graduates crossed the stage, received their diplomas, and celebrated the beginning of their next chapter surrounded by family, friends, and the Sto-Rox community. From inspiring speeches to the turning of tassels, the commencement ceremony marked the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and achievement.

Yesterday, Sto-Rox Upper Elementary celebrated the Class of 2032 during their 6th Grade Graduation!

Families, staff, and friends gathered to recognize students as they officially wrapped up their elementary school journey and prepared for the next chapter. The ceremony included a special slideshow featuring memories from kindergarten through 6th grade, student awards, remarks from Principal Ms. Johnston, and the presentation of diplomas as each student’s name was called.

To close out the celebration, students sang “Thank You for Being a Friend” before enjoying refreshments with their families and teachers. Good luck to our 6th graders as they move on to the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School — we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!
