*DUI ARREST*

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is reporting to the public that on Friday August 21st, 2026 at approximately 8:41pm Jackson County Deputy Sheriff Andrew Brewer arrested Rhonda Pierce of McKee, KY.

The arrest occurred at the intersection of KY89 North and Herd Springs Road approximately 8 miles north of McKee following a call for service reporting a female slumped over in a vehicle.

Units arrived on scene and located a female, later identified as Pierce, standing outside her vehicle.

Upon further investigation an open bottle of alcohol was observed in plain view within the vehicle and the odor of alcohol was detected on Pierce’s person.

Based upon these findings standardized field sobriety tests were conducted, and impairment was determined. Pierce was subsequently taken into custody.

Upon being transported to the Jackson County Detention Center, Pierce refused to exit Deputy Brewer’s patrol vehicle and had to be assisted out.

The vehicle Pierce was in operation of was also determined to be uninsured.

Rhonda Pierce was transported to and lodged in the Jackson County Detention on the charges of: Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance, Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing Governmental Operations.

*STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED*

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is reporting to the public that on Friday August 14th, 2026 Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle out of Berea.

This recovery was a result from a call for service at a residence in the 11000 block of US 421 North. Throughout the course of this investigation, the battery associated with the recent theft at York’s Garage was also recovered.

Charges are pending regarding the stolen vehicle in addition to the recovered battery.

Deputies Andrew Brewer, Brandon Evans, and J.R. Weaver were on scene throughout this investigation.

*COLLISION INVESTIGATION PRODUCES ARREST*

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is reporting to the public that on Monday August 10th at approximately 10:40am Jackson County Deputy Sheriff Andrew Brewer arrested Gabriel Blevins of Annville, KY.

The arrest occurred along Walnut Grove Road approximately 9 miles southwest of McKee following a call for service regarding a vehicle having driven through a yard and proceeded to get stuck in this yard.

Units arrived on scene and made contact with all parties involved including Blevins. Throughout investigation information was advised to Deputy Brewer indicating that Blevins did not have a valid operators license as it was suspended, that the vehicle Blevins was operating was uninsured and not registered, and that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Blevins was subsequently taken into custody.

Search incident to arrest of Blevins’ person led to the discovery of a clear glass pipe containing residue consistent with crystal methamphetamine.

Gabriel Blevins was transported to and lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center on his outstanding warrant of arrest in addition to the charges of: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (methamphetamine), Drug Paraphernalia (buy/possess), Operating on Suspended/Revoked Operators License, No Operators License, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance, Careless Driving, and No Registration Receipt.

Deputy Brewer was assisted at the scene by Deputy Troy Truett.

*DISORDER COMPLAINT PRODUCES ARREST*

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is reporting to the public that on Saturday August 8th, 2026 at approximately 8:14pm Jackson County Deputy Sheriff Andrew Brewer arrested Samuel Clemmons of McKee, KY.

The arrest occurred along US421 North approximately 5 miles north of McKee following a call for service stating that a male was passed out in a ditch, and was reported to have then woken up while attempting to attack the caller.

Units arrived on scene and de-escelated the situation and attempted to take Clemmons into custody when they were met with resistance. After some time units were able to successfully apprehend Clemmons.

While in transit the Jackson County Detention Center, Clemmons repetitively issued threats of bodily harm towards law enforcement.

Samuel Clemmons was transported to and lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center on the charges of: Public Intoxication (controlled substance,) Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree, Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, and Menacing.

Deputy Brewer was assisted at the scene by Special Deputy Brandon Evans.

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is requesting assistance from the public regarding an active theft investigation.

Attached are photos of a person of interest in a theft of property from Yorks Garage in Annville. If anyone has information on individuals involved please contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office or Jackson County 911.

*INVESTIGATION PRODUCES ARREST*

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is reporting to the public that on Thursday August 6th, 2026 at approximately 11:29am Jackson County Deputy Sheriff Jacob Coffey arrested Andrew Stewart of McKee, KY.

The arrest occurred along KY2004 approximately 7 miles north of McKee following Deputy Coffey observing a male pull into the Whistle Stop gas station with no registration plate affixed on the motorcycle they were operating.

Deputy Coffey made a contact with this male, later determined to be Stewart, and began investigating. Throughout this investigation Stewart was displaying furtive movement and began disobeying lawful ordered to step off from his motorcycle.

Following the disobeying of lawful commands Deputy Coffey began assisting Stewart off the motorcycle to which Stewart responded with attempting to pull away from Deputy Coffey. After some time Deputy Coffey was able to detain Stewart pending further investigation.

As a result of this investigation information was relayed to Deputy Coffey indicating that Stewart’s operators license was suspended for a prior DUI, in addition to the motorcycle being uninsured and not registered.

Andrew Stewart was transported to and lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center on the charges of: Driving on DUI Suspended License, Resisting Arrest, No Registration Plate, No Registration Receipt, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Failure of non Owner/Operator to Maintain Required Insurance, No Motorcycle Operators License, and Improper Display of Registration Plates.

Deputy Coffey was assisted at the scene by Sheriff Daniel Isaacs.

*COLLISION INVESTIGATION PRODUCES ARREST*

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is reporting to the public that on Wednesday August 5th, 2026 at approximately 7:46pm Jackson County Deputy Sheriff Chris Baldwin arrested James Gabbard of Morehead, KY.

The arrest occurred at Louie’s To***co approximately 6 miles south of McKee following a call for service regarding a collision within the parking lot of the business.

Deputy Baldwin arrived on scene and made a contact with all parties involved. Throughout investigation it was determined that Gabbard was operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended, while the vehicle was uninsured and not registered. He was taken into custody without further incident.

James Gabbard was transported to and lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center on the charges of: Operating on a Suspended or Revoked Operators License, No Operators License, License to be in Possession, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Failure of Non Owner/Operator to Maintain Required Insurance, No Registration Plates, No Registration Receipt, and Improper Display of Registration Plates.

No injuries were reported as a result of this collision.

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is requesting assistance from the public regarding a vandalism complaint.

Attached are photos of two individuals who were in control of a maroon Chevrolet Malibu (not pictured) and caused property damage to the Sand Gap Car Wash.

*FALSE REPORT ARREST*

Jackson County Sheriff Daniel Isaacs is reporting to the public that on Thursday July 30th, 2026 at approximately 12:55am Jackson County Deputy Sheriff Chris Baldwin arrested Tracy Adkins of McKee, KY.

The arrest occurred along Clemmons Lane approximately 8 miles north of McKee following a 911 dispatch of an unresponsive and possibly deceased male in a residence. Units with the Sheriff’s Office, Jackson County EMS, and the Sand Gap Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched for a response.

Deputy Baldwin arrived on scene and made a contact with all parties involved, including Adkins. Throughout this contact there was absolutely no emergency discerned by anyone on scene, and no danger to life. Adkins was determined to be manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance in addition to being determined to be manifestly under the influence of alcohol following an investigation and was taken into custody for filing a false report.

Tracy Adkins was transported to and lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center on the charge of: False Report Which Generates An Emergency Response.
