CEAP Round Two is open**. Application closes at 5pm Central Time on Monday, June 15th. Unit Commander approval must be completed by this time. Funding is very limited.

**Only for encampments that start on/after July 18th. Cadets who are on the waitlist for CEAP round two encampments do not need to reapply for CEAP. To get funding in round two you must have applied for and be accepted to the encampment listed on the CEAP application. Contact [email protected] with any questions or to make CEAP application changes.

NJWG is proud to celebrate C/2d Lt Couvertier on her commitment to Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, where she will pursue a degree in Aircraft Operations!

From her first orientation flight to the many adventures that followed, she has spent her CAP career exploring, learning, and growing within the world of aviation. Those experiences have helped chart the course for her future and prepared her to take the next step toward a career in flight.

Cadets and Senior Members from Civil Air Patrol’s New Jersey Wing recently took part in a large-scale emergency response exercise at Trenton-Mercer Airport, helping test regional preparedness during a simulated commercial aircraft accident response.

This important training brought together multiple agencies and responders to strengthen coordination, communication, and real-world emergency response capabilities. Our members proudly supported operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in teamwork, leadership, and mission readiness.

Participating units included:Group 223; Allentown Composite Squadron; Bayshore Composite Squadron; Capt. Bud Jackson Composite Squadron; Curtiss-Wright Composite Squadron; Gen. Jimmy Stewart Composite Squadron; Gloucester County Composite Squadron; Maj. Thomas B. McGuire Jr. Composite Squadron; Lone Eagle Composite Squadron; Raritan Valley Composite Squadron; Teterboro Composite Squadron; Thor Solberg Sr. Composite Squadron; Twin Pine Composite Squadron; and Riverside Cadet Squadron.

Outstanding work by all involved as New Jersey Wing continues to serve communities, support emergency services, and remain Always Vigilant for our state and nation.

Nearly 300 cadets, senior members, and guests gathered at NJIT for the 2026 New Jersey Wing Conference & Banquet!

A day of professional development, awards, and celebration honoring Civil Air Patrol’s 85 years of service to our communities, state, and nation.

The event featured remarks from Col. Justin Ballinger, commander of the 621st Contingency Response Wing, Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Harris Kline, USAF, and leaders from NJIT and CAP.

The celebration also coincided with Gov. Mikie Sherrill’s proclamation declaring May 2 “New Jersey Wing Civil Air Patrol Day.”

Thank you to our volunteers, cadets, instructors, guests, and sponsors for making this incredible event possible and for supporting CAP’s missions of emergency services, aerospace education, and cadet programs
