Our 6th graders recently completed a hands-on science lab where they formed their own crystals! Throughout the investigation, students practiced using the scientific method, with a special focus on making careful observations and drawing thoughtful inferences from what they saw. It was a great opportunity to see science come to life—and watch our students think like real scientists!

🧠✨ Enrichment Bins for Early Finishers! ✨🧩
Mrs. Potteiger saw an opportunity to put those amazing, often-unused resources to work! She created grade-level enrichment bins filled with hands-on brainteasers, puzzles, and resource books for students who finish their work early.
The activities will rotate throughout the year, keeping things fresh, challenging, and engaging for students!
We love seeing teachers turn “I’m finished!” into an opportunity for critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving! 🧩📚🧠

Today, our students learned about bus safety. They practiced waiting for the bus to pick them up at their safe spot, how to correctly board the bus, rules of being a bus rider, and then how to exit again to the designated safe spot. Thank you to our USV bus drivers for taking care of our students!
