Congratulations to the Trap Team on an outstanding 2026 Spring Season! The team earned 1st place in its conference.

On a windy and rainy Saturday, the team competed in the NYS Tournament against 634 students from 45 schools. The team finished in 2nd place in the overall team competition.

Individually, in the Varsity Male division, Blair placed 3rd after hitting 96 out of 100 targets, Easton placed 5th with 96 out of 100 targets, and Mason placed 8th with 95 out of 100 targets. In the JV Female division, Sarah placed 9th with 77 out of 100 targets.

Mason, Foster, Easton, and Blair all earned “25” patches for perfect rounds at the tournament!

Additionally, this season, Mason placed 2nd among male shooters in the conference and 6th overall among competitors in the midsize team classification. Mason and Blair were both selected to All-State.

In July, eight students will compete at Nationals in Michigan in both team and individual events. Congratulations to the entire team on a fantastic season, and best of luck as they continue their success at Nationals!

The students in Mr. Sanderson's Design and Drawing for Production class are building handmade ukuleles from scratch. As an enrichment experience, they took a trip to Nazareth, PA to tour the Martin Guitar factory and museum where they were able to experience what it's like working in one of our nation's finest instrument manufacturing facilities.

McGraw Elementary School hosted its 2nd Annual Career Fair on May 21. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade had the opportunity to explore 22 different careers represented at the event. Students asked questions, interacted with presenters, and even tested out equipment used in various professions. Back in the classroom, students reflected on careers that interested them and learned about educational and training pathways connected to those fields.

Engineering and Finance students visited Welch Allyn Baxter in Skaneateles Falls on May 20 with Mrs. Nuesell and Ms. Coombs. Thank you to McGraw graduate and Baxter Engineer, David (Class of 2013) for a terrific educational visit and tour. Students had a chance to get an overview of Baxter and learn about who they are and what they do, experience a user studio with simulations, see the manufacturing floor and warehouse, and speak with medical technology industry professionals.
