The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is planning a project to reduce above average number of crashes, mitigate traffic congestion, and improve pedestrian connectivity along State Route 155 (N McDonough Road).
GDOT is seeking feedback about a proposal to widen State Route 155 (N McDonough Road). The project begins at the intersection of SR 155 and Hampton Locust Grove Road/Bill Gardner Parkway and extends 3.75 miles along SR 155 in a northeasterly direction to the intersection of SR 155 and Interstate 75 (I-75).
The project ends just south of the City of McDonough city limits in Henry County, GA.
The Georgia Department of Transportation will host an in-person meeting where the community will have the opportunity to view the project materials, engage with project team members, and submit comments.
The in-person meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Henry County Administration Building, 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough.
