💪🏽 Empowered. Educated. Prepared.

What a great day spent with some incredible women of Henry County at our Women & Weapons Self-Defense Seminar!

Sheriff Reginald B. Scandrett and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office team spent the day providing hands-on instruction focused on personal safety, self-defense, fi***rm safety and responsible handling.

From learning practical techniques to gaining confidence and asking questions in a comfortable environment, the day was all about giving women tools and knowledge they can carry with them long after the training ended.

Thank you to every woman who joined us, participated and trusted our team to be part of your safety journey. We loved spending the day with you! 💙

🏃‍♂️🇺🇸 Community. Service. Remembrance.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office Community Relations Team enjoyed spending time with our community at the annual Tunnel to Towers 5K!

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of our nation’s first responders and military heroes while supporting their families and those who have sacrificed in service to others. HCSO is proud to continue our annual partnership and support this meaningful 5K right here in Henry County.

Beyond the race, it’s always a great day when we get to connect, laugh, fellowship and spend time with the citizens we’re honored to serve.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, and congratulations to all of this year’s participants! 💙

Today, Sheriff Reginald B. Scandrett and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office stood in solidarity with Henry County leaders, municipalities, fellow public safety agencies and members of our community to honor the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001.

During this solemn gathering, Sheriff Scandrett joined local leaders in offering words of reflection as we remembered those who lost their lives, honored the first responders who answered the call without hesitation, and recognized the families who continue to carry their memory.

Twenty-five years later, the promise remains the same: we will never forget.

May we continue to remember not only the tragedy of that day, but also the courage, sacrifice and unity that followed.

We remember. We honor. We stand together. 🇺🇸

🎉 PROMOTION SPOTLIGHT | CAPTAIN CINNAMON KIZER-HUDSON 🎉

We’re proud to celebrate Captain Cinnamon Kizer-Hudson on her promotion at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office!

Captain Kizer-Hudson brings 19 years of law enforcement experience to her new role, with service that has included the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, Dayton Ohio Public Schools, Hattiesburg Police Department and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. For the past 4½ years, she has been a valued member of Team HCSO.

Her inspiration to pursue a career in law enforcement came from some simple but meaningful advice from her father:

“Pick a career that you will always be needed, and you can help others!”

That advice became the foundation of a career dedicated to service, leadership and helping others — and today, we celebrate the next chapter of that journey.

👏 Please join us in congratulating Captain Cinnamon Kizer-Hudson on her promotion! We look forward to her continued leadership and impact at HCSO.
