Today we recognize our high school teachers—mentors, guides, and role models who help students navigate some of the most important years of their lives.

You challenge students to think deeper, push further, and discover who they are and who they want to become. Beyond academics, you offer guidance, encouragement, and real-world wisdom that helps shape confident, capable individuals ready for what comes next.

Thank you for investing in our students’ futures, for showing up day after day, and for making a difference that reaches far beyond the classroom.

Our staff’s hearts (and stomachs) are full! We’ve had an incredible week so far celebrating our hardworking educators, and it wouldn't have been the same without our amazing community partners.

A huge THANK YOU to:

First Baptist Church for the loaded Potato Bar that fueled our team at MHS! 🥔✨

MES PTO for the festive Taco Bar that brought so much joy to MES! 🌮🥑

We are so grateful for your generosity in helping us honor the teachers and staff who give their all to our students every single day. It truly takes a village!

Yesterday, our 6th grade students delivered "thank you" notes to special teachers and staff members who have made a difference in their elementary school journey. Each note began with “Bring this to a teacher who…” and was filled in with reasons like “makes me smile,” “made learning fun,” and “helped me.”

It was a simple but powerful reminder of the impact educators have every single day. We are so proud of these students for taking the time to recognize the people who have supported, encouraged, and inspired them throughout their elementary years.
