From McCrory Police Department

📌 During the early morning hours of Monday, May 11, 2026, McCrory Police Department's Patrolman Chase Davis responded to the area of South Fakes after receiving a call about a prowler. Upon arrival, Mr. David Luster of McCrory, was observed leaving the scene on foot with a backpack and fled after being ordered to stop. After a short foot pursuit Mr. Luster was located in a brush pile and placed into custody. Mr. Luster was found to be in possession of a medicine bottle containing pills determined to be Tylenol with Codeine as well as two syringes. Mr. Luster was transported to the Woodruff County Detention Center where he was booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance - Schedule III, a Class C Felony, Possession of Instrument of Crime, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Fleeing, a class C Misdemeanor. Mr. Luster is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
