🚑 **Amazing First Responders!** 🚒

A huge thank you to **Med Trans** for coming to assist with transporting our patient following an early-morning **MVA (motor vehicle accident)**.

We also want to recognize and thank **Sandy Branch Volunteer Fire Department, Plum Branch Station 50 Volunteer Fire Department, McCormick County Fire Department, and McCormick Station 30 Volunteer Fire Department** for your hard work and dedication.

Everyone did an **awesome job**, and the teamwork was truly outstanding! 👏👏

This is what happens when our emergency responders come together with one goal: taking care of our community and our patients.

McCormick County Emergency Management – Region 1 Quarterly MeetingMcCormick County Emergency Management was proud to participate in the Region 1 Quarterly Meeting, bringing together emergency management and public safety partners to discuss preparedness, response, and coordination efforts.

Meeting topics included:

Integrated Preparedness Planning Workshop (IPPE) – focusing on strengthening our community’s preparedness and planning efforts.

Palmetto Lifelines Dashboard – reviewing resources, capabilities, and tools available to support emergency response and recovery.

EMS Mobilization Tabletop Exercise – working through a scenario to strengthen coordination, communication, and response capabilities during an emergency.

A big thank you to all of our regional partners for their continued dedication to keeping our communities prepared and resilient. 🤝

Preparedness is a team effort, and together we continue to build stronger emergency response capabilities across the region. 💪🚒🚑

We are honored to have the opportunity to represent McCormick County Emergency Services at the Sandy Oaks Pro Rodeo! 🤠🚑🚒

And let’s talk about a heck of a show they put on! From the moment the gates opened, the energy was incredible. The action, the atmosphere, the crowd, and the entertainment all came together for an outstanding night of rodeo right here in our community.

It’s always a privilege for us to get out of the station and be a part of events that bring our community together. Our crews are proud to represent McCormick County and be there to support the folks who make events like this possible.

A huge thank you to Sandy Oaks Pro Rodeo for having McCormick County Emergency Services out tonight. We truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of it, and we hope everyone who came out had as much fun as we did!

We're hiring part-time and full-time 911 dispatchers.

The salary range for this position is $36,000 - $45,000, plus benefits.

This position is responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency calls and for dispatching appropriate personnel. This position works a 12 hour shift.
