🚧 Public Notice – Final Striping

The Appalachian Grant projects are planning to complete the final pavement striping for both the Riverfront Park and Streetscape projects on September 28th.

There will be no parking permitted on Main Street during the striping work and for a period beforehand to ensure the area is clear and the striping can be completed properly. Businesses in the area may be temporarily impacted during this work and until the paint dries completely.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we complete these final details of the projects. Thank you for your continued support!

🚨 IMPORTANT – PLEASE REPORT FLOOD & STORM DAMAGE

Morgan County has been declared a State of Emergency following the recent flooding and severe weather.

If your home, business, property, driveway, outbuildings, vehicles, or other property sustained damage, please report it to Morgan County EMA β€” even if you are unsure whether your damage qualifies for assistance.

Accurate damage reports are critical in documenting the full impact of this disaster and helping our region identify what resources and assistance may become available. This is especially important as Morgan, Muskingum, Perry, and Athens Counties work to document the significant damage throughout the area.
