FLOOD UPDATE!

Was your home affected by the recent flooding in Morgan County?

If your residence was affected, please contact the Morgan County EMA Office at 740-962-3900 or follow the QR in the link below to report online. The due date for reporting flood damage to a residence has been extended from August 28, 2026 to September 10, 2026.

A Multi-Agency Resource Center is being stood up in Roseville to help those affected by flooding in Morgan, Muskingum, and Perry Counties (click the link below for details). The Center will be open on Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM, from August 24 to September 4 at the William H. Barker Community Center (13047 Karl Brown Road, Roseville, OH 43777).

Morgan County currently has approximately 50 homes effected by this storm. We have multiple roads that are damaged and several remain closed as of 8/13/2026. The Morgan County Health Department is heading up debris management. This is a coordinated effort involving Morgan, Muskingum, and Perry Counties. The governor has declared Morgan County to be in a state of emergency. Noble County EMA has been working out of the Morgan County office today and has been assisting with getting information out to townships and Morgan County agencies. The EMA’s will be meeting again with the state at 3pm today.

Affected Morgan County residents can go to the Crooksville Village Park for donations, this will be moved to the Crooksville Recreation Center this evening at 6 PM.
