Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, Feb. 27, 2026 is the last day to purchase dog tags in the Auditor's office without paying a late fee. They can still be purchased online until midnight on Feb. 28, 2026 without paying the late fee (link below). After these deadlines, a late fee will be assessed for renewal of dog tags; which is double the normal cost of renewal.

Provide your Account ID and Password or a past license number. If valid, a shopping cart is made having your renewing licenses.

Morgan County Common Pleas Court Juvenile and Probate Divisions, as well as the Clerk of Courts' Office, will close on Friday, February 20th, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. to allow staff to attend calling hours for retired Sheriff Tom Jenkins. Court offices will reopen as soon as staff are able to return after paying their respects. Thank you for your understanding.

Morgan County Ohio Commissioners are currently seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract. All correspondence should be sealed and clearly marked “RFQ Enclosed - Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract” and should be submitted no later than March 4th,2026, 10:00 AM. The Dog Warden will be selling dog tags at Riviera Pizza in Stockport on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Dog tags will also be sold at Morris Hardware in McConnelsville on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
