The borough would like to share a message from the McConnellsburg Municipal Water Authority.

At this time, customers receiving water from the reservoir located on Rt 16 are advised to boil their water before use until further notice.

Because we are unable to clearly identify all impacted addresses at this moment, we recommend that residents who are unsure of their water source take precautionary measures and boil water before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or preparing food.

To properly boil water:
Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one full minute, then allow it to cool before use.

Please continue to conserve water.
