Dear McChord Residents,
We are happy to inform you of some positive changes in the McChord Filed Housing areas.
Per JBLM Reg 190-5, the JBLM speed limits will be changed to 20 miles per hour in housing areas and 25 miles per hour in all other areas.
DPW is to standardize 20 mph signage in the McChord Field Housing areas; there are currently 16 each 25 mph signs in McChord Field housing needing to be changed to 20 mph for standardization (Please see attached "Locations of Reduced Speed Limit Signs). On Lincoln Blvd, at the end of the school zone heading northbound out of Woodbrook Gate, the speed limit changes to 25 mph.
EX*****ON: On Tuesday, 19 July, DPW personnel will replace the signs in the McChord Field Housing Area, as shown in the attached document (locations of reduced speed limit signs) to meet the JBLM 190-5 regulations.
