Let's all give a warm welcome to our our newest team member at the Lava Branch and McCammon Branch, Amy Hansen! Amy is happily married and has one handsome son and one beautiful daughter, along with a cat and a new puppy. She loves working at the library because she loves helping people and sparking a love for reading in children! Of course, Amy's favorite hobby is reading. 😊 Her favorite book is Where the Crawdads Sing because "It's a good storyline about a youg girl's perseverance through many hardships in her life." Thank you for joining our team, Amy!

We are excited to announce that we are holding a STEM Career Camp! Everyone is welcome to participate! This is a three part series and will be held at our Inkom Library: September 18 @ 3 pm for Careers with Idaho Power Co., September 24th and 25th @ 4:30-6:30 pm for IT Career Exploration (please sign up for this one as space is limited), and October 3rd @ 3 pm for Chemistry Career Exploration. For questions please call any of our branches and our library staff will be more than happy to help!

We're closed Thursday, August 6th so that we can bring Storytime to the Bannock County Fair! We will start at 12:30 under the pavillion by the new exhibit hall. There will be bubbles, books and a craft along with a fun Storytime! See you all there!

We're so happy to announce that we have a new team member at our Downey Library, Amber Burke! Amber is happily married to her husband of 17 years and together they have two bookend boys with three girls in the middle. She loves french fries and strawberry milk, yummm! She also loves being surrounded by books, which makes her a perfect addition to our library! Amber's favorite books are all The Little Critter books because "I would read them to my kids when they were small and they are so funny!" Welcome to our team, Amber!
