✨PUBLIC INPUT NEEDED! ✨
As you may or may not know, the City of McCammon does not own Center Street, it is owned by the State. The State has planned to rehabilitate Center but the start time continues to be delayed, originally it was 2026, then 2028, and now 2031. The City is working to secure grants to ensure we can piggy-back off ITD's construction and with success we intend to replace water and sewer crossings, remedy drainage issues, and install curb, gutter, and sidewalks. Please take a moment to go to their site and submit a comment to encourage them to prioritize their project in McCammon! I am hopeful that if they receive citizen comments they may consider this project a higher priority! You can submit more than once!

"The Idaho Transportation Department has modified projects in its seven-year investment program following recent changes in transportation funding levels. Public feedback on those changes, as well as other planned projects, are being sought now through July 31 as part of an annual comment period.
Changes are reflected in the Idaho Transportation Investment Program (ITIP). In mid-June, the Idaho Transportation Board reviewed staff recommendations to reprioritize projects and balance the budget as part of updating the ITIP.
Comments can be emailed to [email protected], recorded at 208-334-8063 or mailed to Brianna Fernandez at P.O. Box 7129, Boise, ID 83707.
Paper copies of the program will be available at regional offices and provided upon request by contacting the Idaho Transportation Department at 208-334-8284.
All comments received will be presented to the Idaho Transportation Board, which will look to approve the ITIP in September.
Public input is crucial in ensuring that planned projects include the prioritized needs of Idaho’s communities.

Instead of taking cash at the gates, tickets will be sold at a booth in the alley by the concession stand. So plan on arriving in plenty of time to get your tickets and a great seat.
