Idaho Department of Lands has Issued Stage 1 Fire Restrictions.
Prohibited under Stage 1 Restrictions Are
*Building, maintaining, attending, or using a fire, campfire or stove fire except within a designated recreation site and only within an owner-provided fire structure.
*Smoking, except within an enclosed vehicle, building, or designated recreation site, or while stopped in an area at least three feet in diameter that is barren or cleared of all flammable materials.

Just a Reminder of The Current Bannock County Burn Ban.
*Prohibited: No open burning, recreational fires, or fireworks are allowed within the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) areas Bannock County.

We had a lot of fun at The Pioneer Day Parade Today!

About 6:00pm July 2nd 2026 We received a call for a house fire. There was an occupant in the home at the time. The Bannock County Sheriffs and a good Samaritan were able to get him out of the home. He was transported to the hospital via air ambulance. Fire was contained and did not spread to other structures.
