The vehicle has been successfully recovered from the Payette River. Highway 55 is now open to through traffic; however, please anticipate slow moving traffic and exercise caution while traveling through the area. We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation.

Incident Update - Temporary Road Closure Highway 55 near MP 93
Highway 55 will be temporarily closed to begin recovering a vehicle from the river near milepost 93.5.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to complete this operation safely and quickly. Delays are expected, and due to various factors, we can’t provide an exact timeline. If possible, one lane will be opened to let traffic through, but there will also be times of full closure. Emergency crews are currently on scene along the highway; please use care when passing through.
We will provide an update as soon as possible.
