UPDATE (9/4): The Play Space at the Main Library is now open. ‼️

Our Children's play space at the Main Library will be temporarily closed Thursday, September 3 thru Friday, September 4. Due to Department maintenance.

The Serenity Suite is now open at McAllen Public Library, giving mothers and families a quiet, private, and comfortable space to nurse or pump while spending time at MPL.

Because sometimes, having a welcoming space and a little extra support can make all the difference!

We’re also offering a free monthly Breastfeeding Support Group in partnership with Blooming with Grace Lactation Services, providing guidance, support, and a place to connect with others.

At MPL, we want every family to feel welcome, supported, and at home. 🫶
