June 10, 2026 - Celebrating the 30th Annual VAMOS Scholarship Awards Banquet.

Last night, our community witnessed a milestone that will echo for generations. At the 30th Annual VAMOS Scholarship Banquet, we proudly awarded $1 million in four‑year scholarships to 62 extraordinary students from across the Rio Grande Valley. Their dreams, their determination, and their stories remind us why this mission matters.

We were honored to hear from Mr. Castellanos, representing our banquet sponsor Chick-fil-A Rio Grande Valley, who shared a powerful message of perseverance and purpose. We are so grateful for your continued support.

Our keynote speaker, Elizabeth Diaz-Gonzalez VAMOS Alumna, Class of 1999, moved the entire room with her story of overcoming challenges and building a life of impact, leadership, and personal strength for generations to come. Her journey is a testament to what happens when a community believes in its students. We are honored to have you as part of our VAMOS family.
