From it's beginning, Hospitality House of Oklahoma has been about serving the needs of inmate families. The Vera McCoy House was built to house inmate families who struggled with lodging when visiting their loved ones who are incarcerated in the McAlester area. However, with changes in DOC visitation policy, the work of Hospitality House of Oklahoma has changed. We could no longer operate the McCoy House so the property has been sold. Hospitality House of Oklahoma still exists to help with lodging for inmate families who come to visit.
