If you had damage to your home, garage, vehicles, or possessions, keep a quick list of the damage handy, even if you're not planning to file with your insurance company due to the deductible.

Then monitor information from your city or county emergency management agency because it may be gathering that information for a disaster proclamation or disaster declaration.

Your damage costs could be important to the overall report of storm impacts.

Memorial Day Weekend has arrived the unofficial kickoff to summer! Before firing up the grill for the season, make sure itโ€™s clean and ready to go.

Roughly 1 out of every 5 grill fires involves grills that havenโ€™t been cleaned. Grease buildup can quickly turn dangerous.

Take a few minutes to clean your grill, check propane connections, and keep anything flammable away from the cooking area. Stay safe and enjoy the holiday weekend! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”โ˜€๏ธ

A cold front will move through Tuesday and bring with it additional chances for showers and thunderstorms. A few storms could be strong to severe, especially during the afternoon hours, but uncertainty remains on whether or not the overnight/early morning storms will be enough to limit or prevent afternoon storm development, with the greatest potential south of I-55 and I-80. Stay tuned for forecast updates!
