Last evening, around 2015 hours, the North Lake Fire Department was dispatched to a reported Structure Fire in our District on East Lake Road (Rt430) in Hartfield.

The residents were able to evacuate safety on their own and while the home was a total loss, there were no injuries.

This fire occured in an area of our district without fire hydrants, so our water supply operation relied entirely on 12 tanker trucks to supply fire suppression operations.

North Lake Units that Responded: Ambulance 252, Car 251, Engine 253, Truck 251, Engine 252, Tanker 251.

Mutual-Aid Departments/Agencies that assisted: CCSO, CCEMS, County Tech Rescue Team, County Fire 1, Battalion 2, County Fire Police Team, County Rescue 7, EMS 1, Ashville FD, Bemus Point FD, Brocton FD, Cassadaga FD, Chautauqua FD, Ellery Center FD, Portland FD, Ripley FD, Sherman FD, Stockton FD, Westfield FD.

Today around 1645 hours North Lake FD was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Plank Road. Car 251 arrived on scene at 1649 and requested a second alarm with heavy fire and smoke showing. North Lake Units dispatched: Tanker 252, Engine 252, Ambulance 251, Rescue 252, Truck 251. Tanker shuttles were used to feed Truck 251.

Mutual-Aid departments: CCEMS, CCSO, County Rescue 7, County FAST Team, CF1, TR1, BAT 2, BAT 1, Stockton, Westfield, Sherman, Portland, Maple Springs, Chautauqua, Brocton.
