I feel so blessed to have been there that night. It was truly an incredible night—one I will never forget. I’m so thankful I got to experience such a special moment.

REMEMBERING DOLLY: Long before tributes poured in honoring Dolly Parton’s decades of music and philanthropy, the country music icon stood before a packed crowd in Lexington celebrating an achievement she once described as one of her proudest accomplishments.

Parton visited the Lyric Theatre in 2024 to mark a milestone for her Imagination Library program: participation in all 120 Kentucky counties.

📚✨ ’Twas the Night Before School Starts in Mason County ✨📚

’Twas the night before school, and all through Mason County,
Excitement was building, with smiles in abundance.
The backpacks were packed, the new shoes were bright,
And students were dreaming of tomorrow’s delight!

The pencils were sharpened, the notebooks were neat,
New teachers and friends they were eager to meet.
The buses were ready, the classrooms were too,
And Mason County was waiting for each one of you!

From kindergarteners taking their first little step,
To seniors who’ve worked hard and haven’t stopped yet,
A brand-new school year is ready to begin,
With challenges to conquer and new goals to win!
