It is a beautiful day here at the shop. Stop by for a visit. We are located in the Canebrake Cabin in Old Washington Maysville Ky. While you're here take a stroll through town. Stop in at Phyllis's Antique Lamp Shop. Her shop is absolutely gorgeous, with incredible lamp shades and so much more. Drop by to see Rob Weingartner in his studio and marvel in his jewelry and eye catching paintings. Across the street venture into the Washington Art Guild to see the fantastic works of their artists, you'll be glad you did. Upstairs, visit the Rewind Book Shop and enjoy the many exciting books and more. Don't forget to swing by Ken Swinson's Studio. He is an awesome artist. Before you leave the building, stop by to see Sean at Lil Jumbo's for some delectably good eats. To wrap up your visit, stop at the Momentum photography, where Amy Insko will take beautiful timeless pictures to capture your visit. Have a fantastic day.

Old Washington comes alive on the weekends. And this weekend, May 9th, Federal Hill will make history come alive. It's an all-day event from 11am - 4pm with demonstrations, historical tastings, and other interactive history activities. Orvag's Plein Air painters will be working on the grounds, and the results of these sessions are quite impressive. Anyone who wants to try it is welcome to, and there will be supplies available. This special event is the effort of several organizations devoted to preserving history in our community. Show your support by stopping by and observe the ongoing preservation efforts for this local landmark. There will be park and ride service available from the MCTC parking lot making access to the event a breeze.

We’ll be at Federal Hill this weekend for the Gathering on the Grounds! We hope to see you there!
