Dry conditions will be favored on Monday and most of Tuesday, but the pattern quickly turns unsettled again, resulting in several days with chances for showers and storms the rest of this week and into next weekend.

Flood Watch
FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING
Flood Watch issued September 11 at 2:05PM EDT until September 13 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Kentucky, including the following counties,
Bracken, Lewis, Mason and Robertson and Ohio, including the
following counties, Adams, Brown, Fairfield, Franklin, Highland,
Hocking, Licking, Pickaway, Pike, Ross and Scioto.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Scattered thunderstorms with locally heavy downpours are expected
Saturday into Saturday evening. With the ground already saturated
in many locations from rain the past few days, rapid runoff of
the rainfall could lead to localized flash flooding.
People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding occur
or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas and be
careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.

Roadway Reopened.

Road Closed. The AA Hwy at Ryan’s Farm Supply will be closed for an undetermined amount of time for a vehicle collision. Please avoid area and use alternate routes.

[5:05 AM] Showers and thunderstorms are expected on Saturday. Some storms may produce heavy rainfall, which could lead to isolated flooding issues.

Due to the current and expected weather for today, we will not be conducting the monthly testing of the tornado sirens and RAVE alerts.

A very slow moving cold front will gradually move through the region today. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected, with storms producing torrential downpours that could result in localized flooding, particularly near and south of the Ohio River.

A broken line of showers and thunderstorms is expected later this afternoon into the overnight hours, with storms continuing into Thursday. A few severe storms are possible into the evening hours, with damaging wind gusts the main threat. Repeated rounds of rainfall may lead to flooding, especially later tonight and Thursday.
