...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF MASON...ROBERTSON...
LEWIS...BRACKEN...SOUTHEASTERN PENDLETON...SOUTHERN BROWN...ADAMS AND
WESTERN SCIOTO COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 513 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Wi******er to 9 miles north of Cynthiana, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Maysville, Washington, West Union, Manchester, Peebles, Ripley,
Aberdeen, Vanceburg, Augusta, Wi******er, Seaman, Lewisburg,
Brooksville, Rome, Tollesboro, Blue Creek, Decatur, Russellville,
Mount Olivet, and Dover.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
south central and southwestern Ohio.

Enjoy the outdoor activities today with dry and warm conditions. Off and on thunderstorms are expected throughout the day Sunday. Wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph are forecast Sunday evening following a cold front.

The combination of temperatures in the upper 80s to around 90 and high humidity will result in the heat index reaching 95 to 100 degrees this afternoon.

A cold front will approach the area late tonight and cross the region early Friday. While storms should be weakening as they approach the area tonight, there is some possibility that a few could still have strong to damaging winds.
